Make a Difference

The Saville Center is a child advocacy center that provides a warm and caring home environment for child victims of abuse. Children of all ages come to The Saville Center to speak with specially trained forensic interviewers about their experience.

The Saville Center brings together all the professionals and agencies needed to offer services: law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, mental health, medical and advocacy. This approach ensures that children receive child-focused services in a child friendly environment.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at The Saville Center. Your support has an incredible impact on the lives of the children and families we serve.

Due to the confidential nature of our work, we do not offer volunteer opportunities that allow direct contact with the
children and families we serve.

Agency-Driven Opportunities

Gardening/Plant Flowers

Have a green thumb? Volunteers needed to plant and maintain flower beds as the seasons permit.

Are you an avid “scrapper”? The Saville Center would love to have you take our collected newspaper and magazine articles and turn them into heirloom treasure.

House Maintenance

The Saville Center needs volunteers who aren’t afraid of a little dirt to help us care for our beautiful facilities!

When you serve as many children and families as we do, the Goldfish Crackers run out pretty quick! We would love to have someone make quick trips to the grocery store or run other errands as needed.

Happy Holidays! We need help bringing decorations down from the attic, decorating the house for the holidays, and then help with the post-holiday clean up.

Are you a gourmet chef? Volunteers needed to provide a Friday lunch for the members of our CARES Team (law enforcement, CPS, Medical, etc.).

Children’s Projects

Sometimes children who visit our Center are here for several hours. While they wait, we would love to have small art projects for them to work on. (Example: friendship bracelets, beads, etc.) Could you make up individual project packets for us?

Assist with Mail-outs

The Saville Center does several mailings throughout the year. We need volunteers to assist with labeling, sorting, stamping, and stuffing.

Assist with fundraising throughout the year as well as present new ideas for fundraising.

Volunteer-Driven Opportunities

Volunteer-Driven opportunities are the most creative and flexible ways you can get involved with The Saville Center. Read about who we are and what we do. Study the different ways to help fight child abuse in our community. Take a look at our wish list and agency needs. Compare that information to your own skills, talents, creativity and resources. Then let us know how you would like to get involved with our agency. The sky is the limit and your suggestions and time are always welcome!

As a volunteer, we want you to feel like you are a part of The Saville Center family. On behalf of the children we serve, thank you for your contribution!

Bottom Blocks Area

Individuals often feel powerless when confronted with child abuse. However, one person can do something! The Saville Center has found a way for one person to make a lasting difference in an abused child's life - sponsorship!
