Forensic Interview

A Forensic Interview is simply a formalized interview process used to talk to kids about alleged abuse. These interviews are videotaped so that investigators, attorneys and other professionals can access the information without having to interview the child again and again.

The Saville Center uses Forensic Interview Specialists with extensive training and experience. These Interviewers are specialists trained in using a nationally recognized process which leads to legally sound, non-duplicative, non-leading questions that are developmentally appropriate for children.

The Saville Center brings together all the professionals and agencies needed to offer services: law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, mental health, medical, and advocacy.
